How to Install a Third Party Keyboard in IOS

iOS 8 allows users to install third party keyboards. This has allowed for popular keyboards from the Android world, like the gesture-based Swype keyboard. So many keyboard apps are in App Store now, if you don’t like to use iOS native keyboard, give a shot on third party keyboards.

How to Add Third Party Keyboards ?

  1. Open the App Store and download a third party keyboard like Swype, Fleksy or Swiftkey etc.
  2. Open “Settings” app and choose “General” and tap on “Keyboard” button.
  3. Tap on “Keyboards”  and “Add New Keyboard” button.add-keyboard-1
  4. Select the keyboard you downloaded.add-keyboard-2

How to Access the New Keyboard

Tap and hold on the keyboard icon (the little globe, the same way Emoji is accessed) and choose your newly added third party keyboard
